Based on his broad base of management and technical experience, Mr. Do founded Dependable Global Solutions in 2004 with a focus on Information Security to the Federal Government. He serves as the CEO of the Company and provides oversight for corporate financials.
Mr. Do has 15+ years of government contract experience. Prior to DGS, he managed the Intrusion Detection Team (IDS) protecting the Pentagon backbone and served at the Department of State as a Field Engineer.
Mr. Do received a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1997.
As the co-founder and co-owner of Dependable Global Solutions (DGS), Mr. Griffin serves as the CSO creating, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives.
His 20+ years of professional experience – including over ten years in the cyber-security, information assurance, infrastructure protection, intelligence, and consulting industry – provides for broad experience involving all Security related initiatives. Mr. Griffin is a former Marine and has worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, Lockheed Martin, and Unisys.
Mr. Griffin is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, is a Certified PMP, and holds Certifications in FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) and Emergency Operations Command (EOC).
Travis joined DGS in January 2016 after a 19-year career in industry as a security professional and program manager for companies such as ManTech, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. His most recent notable achievement with a large company in Nov 2015 was the capture of the largest Air Force Security Services contract ever awarded of this type with a total contract value of over $400M. Prior to joining the commercial workforce, he acquired his leadership skills in the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Stationed at Marine Barracks at 8th & I Streets SE, Washington, DC as an Infantry Squad Leader and served as a member of the USMC Silent Drill Platoon.
Travis has over 23 years of experience in clandestine program protection for strategic, tactical, and national assets as well as acquisition and operations experience in SCI and SAP programs for customers in the DoD and IC (Intelligence Community) such as NRO, NGA, HQ AF, OSD & DEA. Early in his career he took advantage of opportunities to cross train and hold positions in key areas such as physical security, OPSEC, information assurance (IA), acquisition program protection, and information systems security engineering while also managing projects and eventually overseeing large programs. Combining the skills of program management experience and multi-disciplined security background has been essential in his ability to provide analytical project execution while being flexible to accomplish dynamic security objectives for essential client needs.
As the NCIS EAD for National Security, Mr. Smith was responsible for NCIS’s worldwide CI, Counter Terrorism (CT) / Force Protection (FP), Security and Cyber programs. He currently serves as the Interagency Liaison Representative for the Defense Security Service (DSS) CI program, supporting DSS’ oversight role for over 10K cleared companies falling under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Mr. Smith possesses a Master of Arts Degree in Policy Management from Georgetown University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Law from the University of Lowell. He has attended extensive career professional schools and holds LE and IC certifications.
Since joining DGS, Mr. Giese has been promoted through the ranks from Business Development, where he assisted in the capture of multiple new lines of business, and now serving as the Director of Recruiting.
In his present role, Mr. Giese possesses the unique ability to both understand the DGS lines of business and to identify the necessary levels of skill, supporting different tradecrafts, and aligning each to urgent partner and client needs. This has contributed significantly to the continued growth of the DGS team through the rapid identification and placement of security professionals, both CONUS and OCONUS. Mr. Giese has 12 years of experience in government contracting and joined the DGS team in 2007.
A native of Virginia, Mr. Giese attended college in Florida at Florida International University (FIU) where he studied Industrial Design.
Mrs. Starace joined DGS in 2011 as the Corporate Business Manager. Her role includes direct oversight of our firm’s day-to-day business activities. As the focal interface for DGS employees, she is tasked with handling a myriad of HR, Payroll, and contract support related activities.
Mrs. Starace is a seasoned Human Resource and Management professional, with over 10 years of service to the companies she has supported. Prior to joining DGS, she worked as a Human Resource Consultant for PayChex, advising dozens of organizations throughout the country on Human Resource Management techniques and best practices.
Mrs. Starace received a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance with a focus in Human Resource Management from the University of Florida, and maintains a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification.
